I work in the field of primary immunodeficiency since 1993. I made a fellowship (1992-1997) in Alain Fischer’s group in Hospital Necker in Paris, that is one of the most famous center for primary immunodeficiency in the world. I obtained an Msc and a PhD in Immunology in 2000 working on Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome. I became Professor of Paediatrics, University Paris 7 (2004).

In 2005, I was recruited at Ste-Justine Hospital to be Head of the Paediatric Immunology and Rheumatology Division. I am also head of a research laboratory on paediatric immunopathology. I published many papers on immune reconstitution after haematopoietic stem cell transplantation for primary immunodeficiency, and on the pathophysiology of Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome. My project will aim to better understand Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome by using the technology of humanized mice.
