She had a happy childhood, and was full of energy and life. Suddenly, in her late teens, she became critically ill with hepatitis. The cause was unknown, and she spent the next few years seeing specialists and trying to beat the disease. Some doctors thought the disease would be terminal. They treated the disease but did not look deeper. Finally, after several harrowing and stressful years, the disease finally went into remission. Years later, she is diagnosed with common variable immune deficiency (CVID) by an immunologist, whilst battling on-going infections. On September 1997, she passed away.
